Ohhh dear. Time to get back to study. The assignment question for Malaysian Studies subject already came out in the myVLE system. I will be a bit busy after this to prepare for this assignment. The due date is on 21 March 2012.

I quickly download the question. A bit tough and need thorough research in order to prepare the report and write it between 2500 and 3000 words excluding references.


Elections in Malaysia are held to elect representatives to Federal Parliament and State Assemblies.  In order to manage and supervise the election processes, the Election Commission (EC) was formed under Article 114 of the Federal Constitutions.

OBJECTIVE 
I.  To elaborate the election process in Malaysia.
II. To understand the role of the Election Commission.
III.To discuss mechanisms of election process in Malaysia.


REQUIREMENTS 
Write a comprehensive report on the Election System in Malaysia with clear focus on aspects such as the process of election, the role of the Election Commissions and the elements related the election process. Please provide suitable examples for each topic.  [Total: 50 marks]
