‘Tailored for Your Smile’ — Colgate’s latest electric toothbrush launches first on Shopee

The new electric toothbrush lets users personalise their brushing experience with 10 levels of vibration intensities and 4 different cleaning modes — squeaky clean, sparkle, gum care and night spa. With a total of 33 combinations, users can customise their brushing experience for just what they need.

It comes packed with smart features that provide real-time "coaching" for the best brushing experience, including its smart pressure sensor to remind users to apply less pressure when brushing their teeth, a quad pacer that pulses when it is time to change the brushing area, and a built-in timer of two minutes for optimal efficiency.

#ShopeeDeliversLove Meneruskan Tradisi Menghargai Rakan Penghantar Pada Ramadan Ini

#ShopeeDeliversLove, sebuah kempen oleh Shopee untuk menghargai rakan kongsi penghantaran, kembali pada Ramadan ini. Kempen ini berlangsung dari 11 April - 22 April di mana rakan penghantaran Shopee dan ShopeeFood boleh mengambil makanan berbuka puasa mereka dari Hab Penghantaran Shopee terpilih.

Wong Chee Mun, Ketua Pembangunan Perniagaan ShopeeFood Malaysia mengulas, “Kami mahu memastikan rakan penghantaran kami dapat berbuka puasa dengan selesa semasa bekerja. Rakan penghantaran adalah rakan kongsi yang dihargai kerana mereka membantu kami menyokong pendigitalan industri F&B di Malaysia. Saya memilih untuk menjadi rakan penghantaran makanan berbanding pekerjaan lain semasa pandemik kerana sebagai rakan penghantar saya mempunyai kebebasan dan fleksibiliti untuk merancang waktu kerja saya. Sebagai contoh, untuk menyambut Hari Raya tahun ini, saya dapat merancang untuk lebih banyak penghantaran dan tambahan waktu bekerja untuk mendapatkan lebih banyak belanja untuk Hari Raya.

Mengenai sama ada terdapat cabaran tambahan semasa menghantar makanan pada bulan Ramadan, Fikri berkata, “Menghantar makanan pada bulan Ramadan mempunyai cabaran yang sama seperti hari-hari biasa. Cuaca Malaysia yang mencabar, kesesakan lalu lintas serta keadaan jalan yang buruk seperti jalan berlubang, serpihan dan papan tanda jalan yang hilang adalah antara cabaran yang kami hadapi setiap hari sebagai rakan penghantar makanan.” Tambah Fikri, setakat ini tiada halangan besar untuk menyempurnakan penghantarannya tetapi memenuhi tempahan dalam cuaca buruk agak mencabar kerana penunggang perlu lebih berhati-hati di jalan raya.

Bagi memastikan dia mempunyai masa berbuka puasa sambil menyiapkan tempahan, Fikri merancang jadualnya dan menyediakan juadah dari rumah. “Sepanjang Ramadan saya mengubah sedikit rutin saya supaya saya mempunyai masa yang mencukupi untuk berehat di antara penghantaran. Saya juga memperuntukkan sedikit masa untuk berbuka puasa dengan membawa minuman dan makanan ringan sendiri seperti roti. Jika tiada penghantaran pada pukul 6:30 petang, saya akan berhenti berbuka puasa dahulu sebelum meneruskan penghantaran.”

Jarang Update Blog

Kalau perasan, Mia dah jarang sangat update blog pada bulan April ini. Apa tidaknya, agak kesibukan dengan rutin seharian di bulan puasa ini dengan Mia ada buat kerja part time sedikit beberapa bulan ini. Ni pun gagahi jua curi masa untuk update blog. Rindunya nak update blog hari-hari. Ada juga entri yang pending belum sempat di publish lagi.

Tentu rindukan celoteh Mia kan... Nak buat macam mana.. Mia ini ada beberapa komitmen. Bak kata orang, yang penting didahulukan. Bila masa lapang sedikit baru lah boleh update blog. Rindunya kat blog ini.

Malaysians Shift Online to Obtain their Ramadan Necessities

With the lockdowns changing the way we shop in recent years, Shopee’s Ramadan month data between 2019 and 2021 shows that Malaysians have become more intuitive when it comes to online shopping.

With the advancement of technology and how Ramadan shopping is turning to be more digital, Shopee has experienced a spike in searches for items across all segments on the platform throughout the Ramadan period in the last three years.

The keyword Baju Kurung was searched close to 3.3 million times throughout the Ramadan season in 2021. This was a 433 percent increase from the same period in 2020. In 2020 Ramadan month, the keyword increased in popularity by 265 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

In the health and beauty segment, the keyword foundation was searched more than 90,000 times on Shopee, a significant increase compared to 2019 where it was searched about 28,000 times. In 2021, the keyword search increased to more than 197,000 times. This shows that many who observe Ramadan continue to purchase products that help them look their best, come family photo sessions during Raya.    

Meanwhile, the search for Kuih Raya increased to 253,603 times during Ramadan last year from 58,331 times in 2020 as Kuih Raya is one of the must-haves in the household of Malaysians who celebrate the occasion and hand out as gifts to their family and friends.

Consumers were also looking for automotive items such as helmets, engine oil, wipers, oil filter and car wax online. For instance, the keyword wiper was searched 8,365 times in Ramadan 2020 as hardware and spare part shops were allowed to only operate for limited hours during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period. Last Ramadan, it was searched more than 27,000 times. 

Kenneth Soh, Head of Marketing Campaigns at Shopee Malaysia said that the lockdowns had trained Malaysians to be accustomed to e-commerce and that Shopee has now become the go-to platform to get their Ramadan essentials which were previously purchased offline. 

“Take for instance there was a surge in sales for ketupat palas, BB Cream and concealers during Ramadan 2021. These are popular items which users used to purchase them offline. However, last year, these became the most sold items online within their product categories.”
