Also called the Chinese Moon Festival, the mooncakes will add a special element of the globally symbolic festival for family reunion.
This year, Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel’s Chef De Partie, Lim Pei Shi will introduce the new snow skin mooncake flavors; Orange Truffleand Blueberry Truffle. Made from original orange and blueberry paste, these snow skin mooncakes have a fragrant filling and smooth texture. For the traditional baked mooncakes, all are handcrafted daily with fresh, fine-quality natural ingredients without preservatives. These include Pure Lotus Paste, Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Lotus Paste with Double Yolk, Green Tea Paste with Single Yolk, Jade Custard, Assorted Fruits & Nuts and Red Bean Paste.
As for the snow skin mooncakes, the varieties include Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearl, Coffee Truffle, Taro Paste Truffle, Green Tea Matcha Truffle, Passion Fruit Truffle, Peppermint Chocolate Truffle, Strawberry Frizzy Truffle and Lemon Paste Truffle. The return of our all-time favorite Fresh Durian is also available for all to savor.
The mooncake purchase starts from today until 1 October 2020 and these handcrafted mooncakes are beautifully presented in a new designed gift box in a set of eight and priced at RM98.00 nett for snow skin mooncakes, in a set of four and priced at RM98.00 nett for traditional baked mooncakes and Fresh Durian is at RM168.00 nett in a box of eight. The mooncakes will be on display at the hotel’s lobby until 1 October 2020.
